Welcome to my page! I am Elizabeth. I am getting ready for the adventure of a lifetime and thought you would want to know about it. I am in the preparation stage of a one-year adventure with my youngest, my 13-year-old son, Axel. We are planning to spend a year learning about the world by leaving our creature comforts behind and seeing everything there is to see outside our walls. I will post our progress as we go. It is going to be amazing!
For years, I have wanted to travel. Not just vacation, but really travel. But, how do you do that when you are a responsible adult who has to build a retirement account and get kids through college. So, I saved money. I kept the dream at the back of my mind while I saved money. I did the little trips for two weeks to spectacular places to keep the travel monster under control, but it was never enough.
Well, life has presented me with some pretty significant changes lately, and I have chosen to view them as opportunities to start a new life – a life that will open the doors for the travel monster and finally let it roam.
